PNA Arts Program Mission Statement

The purpose of the PNA Arts Program is to provide the community with a rich diversity of cultural experiences while supporting regional visual and performing artists. To achieve this goal, the program develops creative venues for artists to share their work in a neighborhood environment.

Preference is given to artists living in the Puget Sound area who are not affiliated with a commercial gallery.

The Phinney Center Gallery is funded in part by 4Culture (formerly the Cultural Developmental Authority of King County).

The Phinney Center Gallery is a partner in Take Part in Art.org. Click here to find other area arts event listed at the Take Part in Art.org website.

Current Sculpture in Heart of Phinney Park

Marking Place

Marking Place is the new sculpture recently installed in the Heart of Phinney Park. Marking Place is the third in a series of collaborative works by Susan Gans and David Traylor to explore ideas that refer to landscape and place. The format for this exhibition reverts back to a multimedia approach including guest artists, Clint Ceder and Yun Hong Chang, as part of the project team.

You can find the sculpture on the pedestal in front of the Francine Seders Gallery.
