Saturday, April 30:

The Stage Door Cafe welcomes musicians Kristin Chambers and SixFootSavage for one more fundraiser for the Greenwood community. This event is free to the public. Raffle tickets can be bought for $10 a ticket for a chance to win tickets for a play at the Taproot Theatre and a Gift Certificate for the Stage Door Cafe (estimated worth at $100 total). Friday, May 13:

Mural Auction: Greenwood Square Upper Crust Catering (8420 Greenwood Ave N)

Urban Hands will host an auction of plywood window art from the Greenwood gas explosion. Social Hour begins at 5 pm. Auction winners announced at 8:30 pm. Appetizers and cash bar.

 

Ongoing:

 

Support G &O Family Cyclery: G&O has set up their own GoFundMe campaign, if you would like all of your donation to go to G&O.

 

Mr. Gyros Recovery Fund: A neighbor has set up a GoFundMe to specifically support the owners of Mr. Gyros.

 

Greenwood Fred Meyer is donating all the proceeds from their coin boxes to the effort.

 

IRG Physical and Hand Therapy of Greenwood is currently collecting donations for the fund at their business located at 514 N. 85th St.


Greenwood Senior Center (525 N 85th Street) is collecting donations.

 

Greenwood Hardware (7201 Greenwood Ave. N.) is collecting donations.

 

Ken's Market (7231 Greenwood Ave. N) has a collection box.

 

Phinney Ridge Yoga (6615 Dayton Ave. N.) is collecting donations.

 

Inside Out Yoga located at 5623 University Way NE is collecting donations.

 

Verity Credit Union and Taproot Theatre are holding a raffle for two gift baskets – featuring tickets to the Taproot Theatre and gift cards to Naked City Brewery & Taphouse. Stop by the Verity branch at 8533 Greenwood Ave N.

 

Hooyman Family Chiropractic (143 NW 85th St) will be donating 20% of all proceeds in March and April to the relief fund.

 

Umpqua Bank (7120 Greenwood Avenue N) is collecting donations and will match the first $500.

 

"Show Greenwood Some Love" t-shirt sales: Greenwood Elementary PTA is selling their amazing "Show Greenwood Some Love" t-shirts at Makeda & Mingus Coffee. Every penny goes to the businesses that were damaged by the explosion. Shirts are $25 each (cash or check). Shirts were printed by TC Span America, who generously lowered the cost of the shirts to make the most of our donations. And, parents of Greenwood Elementary School donated all the money to have the shirts printed. So far, they have raised $4,100 from sales! See the shirt »

 

Dreamstrands Comics and Collectibles (115 N. 85th Street) is donating $1 per back issue purchased, now until the end of the month.

 

Diggety Dog is offering free dogs to firefighters, police officers and other City workers in uniform.

 

Evan's Family Variety Show and Angel Productions, Inc will donate 100% of popcorn sales from their monthly shows at the Phinney Center. (4th Sundays in April, May and June, 3 pm in the PC Brick Building)

 

Holiday Monkey sale update: Monkeys are currently sold out. They raised $11,000 for the Greenwood Relief fund.
