About the Tool Lending Library
Need a drill for a day? A torque wrench for a weekend? From staple guns to star bits, the PNA Tool Lending Library can help. With over 2,000 tools available to borrow, chances are that we have the right tool for the job. And with rental rates as low as $2 a week for some tools, your DIY project won’t break the bank!
You’ll find more than just quality tools at the Tool Library. Our expert staff and volunteers will happily offer the advice you need to get the job done the right way and stay safe while you’re doing it. The only thing you need to get started, is a current PNA Membership.
Did you know? Founded in 1977, the PNA Tool Lending Library is one of the oldest tool libraries in the United States!
Borrow Tools
- Become a Member of the PNA. Current membership is required for reserving and renting items. Unsure if you’re a current PNA Member? Call (206) 783-2244 or head in to the Tool Library during open hours to ask.
- Read and sign the Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver and return it to the Tool Library.
- Browse the real-time, online inventory.
- Check tools out in person at the PNA Tool Lending Library.
